HOW IT STARTED
TIRED OF PAYING $300 FOR A PADDLE THAT DIDN'T DELIVER.
Rich Smith is a Louisville native — born and raised in a city that takes pride in everything it does. When he got into pickleball, he did what most players do: went online, found a paddle, and paid way too much for it. The quality wasn't there. The connection to the community wasn't there. And none of that money was coming back to Louisville.
So he built something better.
